Brush, Limb and Leaf Policy

Brush, Limbs, & bagged leaves are picked up year round.

Leaf Vacuum program runs from the beginning of November through end of January.

Tree trimmings and shrubbery cuttings shall be placed near the curb or street. 

  • Do not place cuttings in the street or in gutters. 
  • All tree trunks must be cut in three (3) foot lengths and be no more than two (2) feet in diameter.  Anything larger will not be picked up. 
  • Tree stumps are not picked up.

Leaves and pine straw should be put in bags to be removed from February through October of each year. 

Mulched leaves and grass clippings must be bagged year-round. 

The leaf vacuum machines will run from November through January each year and leaves can be raked to the edge of the yard to be vacuumed.

Contractors – If residents contract the cutting of any trees, it is the responsibility of the contractor to dispose of the debris.

Residential – Each residence shall be allowed one truckload of trees/brush per 30 days.  Should a resident have more than one truckload of brush that they would like for us to pick up, the owner must pay a fee to the City of $250.00 per load to dispose of any consecutive load(s).

Building debris:  Plaster, lumber, roofing, concrete and brick resulting from the repairs or demolition of any building will not be picked up and cannot be mixed in with piles of brush.
