Garbage Service

To request Residential Garbage Service:

The city contracts with Waste Services of Alabama (Santek) for residential garbage service, you may also request recycling services for a additional fee. 

To start service, please contact Santek at 205-631-1313 or send them an email at wsal@santekenviro.com.

Santek will pick up one time per week – they only pickup what is inside the can (they use the lift trucks with automatic pickup arms to empty the cans).
