Gardendale-Martha Moore Library

Under the direction of the Head Librarian, Connie Smith, the Gardendale-Martha Moore Library is a 12,642 square-foot building that offers meeting rooms, a reading porch, and computers for public use. The library provides programs for all ages as well as  DVDs, audiobooks, books and downloadable material for check out.

Our Library is named for the city’s first librarian, Mrs. Martha Moore, who oversaw the growth from a one-room facility to today’s state-of-the-art research and learning center.
