Miracle League Baseball

It was decided by the Mayor and City Council that Pate Field at Luman Harris Park (named after longtime Parks and Recreation Board member, Mrs. Jennie Pate) would become the new Miracle League Field. The 15,900 sq. ft. baseball field is ideally suited for athletes with special needs who compete as part of a national organization committed to providing opportunities for all children to play baseball regardless of physical ability.
