Senator Scott Beason is serving his first term
in the Alabama Senate. He was elected to two consecutive terms
in the Alabama House of Representatives. Senator Beason received
a Degree in Geology from the University of Alabama.
The Senator and his wife Lori, and their three children, Keller,
Merritt and McCalan are members of Gardendale's First Baptist
Church.
He is a member of the Jefferson County Republican Executive
Committee and the Alabama Republican Executive Committee in
addition to the Senate Committees that he serves.

Representative Pat Moore was first elected
to the Alabama House of Representatives in 2006.
She received a B.S. Degree in Institutional Food Management
and History from Auburn University and a Masters Degree in
Secondary Mathematics Education from the University of Alabama
at Birmingham.
Representative Moore co-owns a real estate investment company
and a small timber farm. She serves on the Alabama Republican
State Executive Committee and the Jefferson County Executive
Committee. She is a member of the Greater Birmingham Republican
Women, Western Area Republican Club and Hueytown Chamber
of Commerce.
Representative Moore is married to her husband Dan. They
have a daughter, Danlyn, and a son, Kit, as well as two granddaughters,
Madi and Molli. They belong to Pleasant Grove First Baptist
Church.

Representative Allen Treadaway was elected
to the Alabama House of Representatives in November 2006.
He was born on September 25, 1961, and received his Peace
Officers Standards and Training Commission from the Birmingham
Police Academy. Representative Treadway serves as a Police
Lieutenant with the City of Birmingham.
He is a past president of the Birmingham Fraternal Order
of Police, recognized as the Officer of the Year (1992)
by the City of Birmingham and the Most Outstanding Member
of the Year (2004-2005) by the Alabama State Fraternal
Order of Police.
Representative Treadway is a past director of Toys for
Tots and a current Board member of the Birmingham Retirement
and Relief System.
He and his wife, Susan are the parents of five children:
Kelsey, Erin, Tyler, Ally and Cody, and they members of
Enon Baptist Church.

Moore was first elected to the Alabama House of Representatives
in 2002 and is serving her second term.
She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology
from Tuskegee University, her Certificate of Medical
Technology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham,
and MBA in Human Resource Development from Alabama
A&M University.
Representative Moore is a retired medical technologist
from the Veteran's Administration Hospital in Birmingham.
She is a member of Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church,
a former member of the Birmingham School Board, past
President of the ACIPCO Finley Neighborhood, and former
member of the Birmingham Industrial Water Board and
Birmingham Trade Mart.
Representative Moore has one son, Michael, and a granddaughter,
Amber.
