It was decided by the Mayor and City Council that Pate Field at Luman Harris Park (named after longtime Parks and Recreation Board member, Mrs. Jennie Pate) would become the new Miracle League Field. This project started December 2008 and is now completed in time for Opening Day 2009. Gardendale's Field of Miracle is now completed!
