Under the direction of the Head Librarian, Connie Smith, the Gardendale-Martha Moore Library is a 7,730 square-foot building that offers a meeting room, reading porch, typing rooms, and computers for public use as well as DVDs, audiobooks and books for check out.
Our Library is named for the city's first librarian, Mrs. Martha Moore, who oversaw the growth from a one-room facility to today's state-of-the-art research and learning center.
Kid's Book Club Your Library has a new book club - for Kids 4th-6th grade! Join us for a scavenger hunt that will really teach your child how to use the library. We'll hand out our book for October "Diary of a Wimpy Kid".
