The Senior Center offers many activities tailored to the needs and abilities of our patrons.Every day there are card games, dominoes, board games, and puzzles in the sun rooms and lounge.
Lunch is served at 11:30 five days a week and is on a first come first served basis.
Mondays and Thursdays, Bingo is played with enthusiasm at 9:30.
Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays, Water Aerobics at Sportsplex..
The van leaves at 9:00. Mondays: Exercise Class at 1:00
Tuesdays four local bands take their turns playing from 9:30 until lunchtime. The Fultondale Boys, Skip and Friends, The Brookridge Drifters, and The Old Timers provide a variety of styles of music.
On fifth Tuesdays, Glenn Tolbert entertains with Blue Grass.
Tuesday evenings from 6:00 - 9:00, there is a dance led by The Men in Black.
Wednesday mornings bring an exercise class taught by a Smart Moves instructor.
That is followed by an educational speaker. After lunch, introductory Spanish is taught in the lounge.
Thursday after lunch, the Bridge club plays, and Bo Chambers and Glenn Tolbert entertain with
Gardendale Rocky Grass - 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Fridays, Excercise class begins at 9:30.
Competitive games such as cards, dominoes, Scrabble, and Wii bowling take place all over the center.
Seasonal parties, birthday potlucks, special entertainment, fun and games occur on different days.
